Good choice of lamp! You can even run that MT150D at lower wattages (e.g. on 100 or 70 W ballast) and still maintain a white light output. The color temperature will increase noticeably though - that may be desirable if you have a severe case of SAD.

These are super cool, love that design. I wish they made more frosted HID lamps instead of "coated"

Agreed, and I suspect the production cost of the inside-frosted variant was a bit higher.
