1956 Philips 15A55/FR (15 W / 220 V)

The 15 W incandescent lamp shown here is the smallest of its kind ever produced by Philips in the Netherlands for general lighting service. The lamp features a single-coiled tungsten filament that operates in vacuum due to its low wattage. The bulb is inside etched so as to reduce the source luminance and limit glare. With an output of 125 lm only, the lamp was intended for functional applications only, such as appliances's integrated lighting. During the 1950s Philips offered this lamp with a clear and inside frosted finish, available in four voltage groups from 100–128 to 230–250 V. The present lamp is rated for 220 V mains.

How big is this lamp..? It's difficult to tell from the picture.

It has a size similar to that of modern A55 (i.e., 55-mm diameter) 40 and 60 W GLS lamps.

Thanks, I think that's the same size as these but I've not had any of them out recently so not 100% sure.
