I like to keep this lantern nice and dry and not use up my SOX lamps. So it stays in the garage a lot. I have a 'gas' style top on this lamp post mostly, with a 35w halide and gas-mantle look-a-likes with unmentionables in them for economy. Laughing I've made it overly complicated as there are the two light sources and its all on a 1/2 night photo-switch but also bypass with a PIR sensor.
