This was originally designed for up to a 100w incandescent lamp .I've since converted it to HID by installing  a pulse-rated socket , a 70w electronic PSMH ballast and 70w Philips 3K coated lamp . 

 For some reason , this fixture has a label inside warning the installer to not install this at heights of more than 25 feet ! WHY ????

Or possibly the amount of light that would reach the ground from an incandescent..?

Maybe the lights' scared of heights ??? Mr. Green I've also seen the same label on some of the low grade HID NEMA fixtures .
I wonder if it could have something to do with voltage drop from the long wire run ??
