We all do, Ria. That's what scarcity does to an object of interest. Soon we'll all love sodium and metal halide lamps the same way (for lighting hobbyists, I mean) - I recently bought some cheap run-of-the-mill SON-T PIA Plus 70W for my hobby stock, and I was really surprised how much I like and missed its light color (all is LEDs around now). I regained the sense of wonder I felt when I saw the first HPS lamps in my hometown during the early 1980s... I guess it's the striatum doing its thing there.
