Parmar LDD500255 Lamp Detection Device

Here is an interesting device I recently found on eBay. It allows an auxiliary tungsten lamp to be wired into a discharge lamp circuit. It lights when power is applied, and goes off when the discharge lamp is fully warmed up. The main problem with most discharge lamps is that they take time to warm up to full brightness when first powered on and after a power interruption. This device ensures there is always instant light when power is applied, I'm very surprised they were not more popular.
