Here is a GE Lucalox LU100 100W HPS lamp. Apparently this is UK spec. despite it saying S54 ballast on the packaging. Still almost boiled the  ballast, though :-(

I can't see the etch very well but if theres a dot and dash to the right of the U.S.A. It should be Ravenna , Ohio .

You certainly mean "world spec outside NA and Japan"... GE surely did not make this lamp specifically for the UK. The stamp on the bulb clearly identifies it as a 100 V lamp, so definitely not an S54 (55 V) type. Or was there a misprint? It would be interesting to know its voltage during operation because it shouldn't cause harm to our 100 W series-choke ballasts.

@Tim/@Eric - thanks for the information, I'll update the description.

@Max - You're right, but UK spec was easier to say Wink I'd would be interested to know why the sleeve says S54, though Wonder I'll run it up again (when I can find it..!) and check.

I wonder if it's either the wrong sleeve or possibly a typo from GE ?
