Xenon pulse lamp

Don’t know much about this lamp. The window is 15mm in diameter. It is operated as a flash tube and is likely to contain xenon. There are two main electrodes and two trigger electrodes visible through the window. The lamp was removed from a piece of equipment that measured the spectral output from the lamp. A sample could be placed in the beam and 10 photodiodes were positioned to capture the main emission lines. Attenuation or filtering may have been used to identify characteristics of the sample. The unit I obtained was just the lamp, sensors and diffraction spectrometer so have no other information.
A little chat with AI suggests it was a multi-wavelength analytical instrument, probably clinical/chemical instrumentation. It also says the lamp is still available. Then it was encouraging me to set up the lamps and pulse it. Funny even AI works out what type of person I am.
