Comfort SON-T
|
Added this Comfort SON-T to my collection. The interesting version of the SON-T sports a shorter fatter arc tube, with printed starter assist conductive track. Think it was manufactured in 2009 given the solid-getter. The light output is indeed warm and pleasant enough for indoor use, but it’s run up time is quite long before good colour quality is achieved. I’ve included the spectrum expecting to see significant bark space broadening but it looks like a compromise has been reached between colour and efficiency.

Although I think we stopped using the comforts around the time we went to electronic dimming ballasts. I think the comfort lamps didn't like that very much.
