Philips SRM custom twin lamp
While the larger SRM was offered with twin lamps, the smaller one wasn't. I modified mine from 90W SOX to take 2x 35W SOX by using some parts form a second SRM, a plate from a Vectra, and a generic metal L plate.

Nice modification indeed. You could also combine a PL with a SOX in order to improve the overall light color whenever that's needed (e.g. outside late night hours, when there actually are people around).

Thank you; that is a good idea. I do have the body of the SRM that donated parts to this, a PL version is not out of the question Smile

I meant a mixed PL-SOX design, not a pure PL one. Looking forward to seeing your next modified luminaire in any cases.

I know Smile But I don't have the parts for a SOX mixed lamp option. I could play with mounting a rail down the middle and having four SON / CPO lamps in there too Mr. Green
