Cleaned and

This is a childhood lantern of mine. It was outside my local leisure centre where I used to go swimming, I saw it all the time and yet in all the years, I only saw it lit once, glowing a dull green. That was about 15 years ago, but I have it on good authority that it worked as late as 2019. I gave it a full strip down, careful cleaning, and even went as far as to paint the frame. I fitted a new capacitor and wires as well. It's a very strange lantern. Square isn't the usual order of things, but I absolutely love this thing!
