Robertson Carbon Radiator Lamps

Here are two Robertson carbon radiator lamps, these were used as heaters around the turn of the 20th century. The pip-top one does not have a visible date code, can anyone help..?

The later orange one has a code of 38, which I believe to be February 1937; again,can anyone confirm..?
