Ismay 'Doto' 105V 25/25W Dual Filament Lamp

This was in the same eBay sale as the Duofil lamp recently posted. The switching mechanism on the base is slightly different, though. Again I make no apologies for the multiple images of the packaging artwork, it's almost as good as the lamp itself..!

A very unusual finish on this.

I have one in the collection as well, it's a really interesting in intriguing piece of lighting history. Do you happen to know where exactly it was made?

Ismay was based in Ilford, which was then in Essex but has now been absorbed into Greater London. I grew up in Barkingside, a few miles away. So I'm assuming it was there, but I'm not 100% sure Wonder
