Five CosmoWhite Lamps Received these in a trade, here are 5 CosmoWhite CMH lamps, 4 are Philips and the other is badged Venture, although I am guessing it was Philips made. There is one 45W, one 60W, one 90W and one 140W lamp, plus the boxed 60W Venture lamp. Keywords: Lamps

That's a nice little collection of the range you have there. I have a couple of the 60W lamps.

Yes, they are all from Philips. Second generation to be exact. Really good lamps there!

We only have a ballast for the 60W one at the moment, though.

Those are robust lamps (I experimented a lot with those), you can run them a bit off specs on standard ballasts (e.g. 45 W lamp on 50 W gear, 60 W lamp on 70 W gear, 90 W lamp on 100W gear, etc.). If you use standard electromagnetic ballasts, then you can run the lamp properly by adjusting the input voltage using a variac until the lamp's rms current matches its specification (good enough for testing purposes).

By the way, they were made at the Philips HID lamp plant in Turnhout, not by Sylvania Tienen.
