Twin-arc HPS lamps where not that common in Europe despite their obvious advantage life-wise. Maybe their higher cost price discouraged a wider usage in our countries. Your Lucalox lamp seems to be of the kind using the advanced 2-piece HPS arc tube, a nice design that confers an extended service life to the lamp.
