With the speed at which LEDs are replacing conventional lighting, it is becoming increasingly difficult to still find such a sight. This place still has its original 1980s streetlights: sodium for the main road (Philips SGS201 with diffuse SON 150W lamp) and fluorescent for the side walk and bicycle track (Philips CPS200 with PL-L 36W). Who knows how long this time capsule will remain as it is...

We certainly are living through a technological transition, so it's good to document what's left while it lasts. All this will be history in a few years from now.
