That's an interesting Lucalox variant indeed! It looks like GE employed a more transparent ceramic burner in order to get more light out. This, of course, is less effective than increasing the xenon fill pressure as was done in Europe, first by Philips with their SON(/T) Plus.

@Max - Interesting...I'd though than they'd just increased the pressure like you mentioned...now that I look at it, the PCA does indeed look to be of a higher translucency.
