Powerlite Mini Gumball and Arm
I picked this up at a antique store, it's not too common to find one of these with the original arm, especially a shorter 4ft one so I decided to grab it. The arm is a smaller version of the braced S arms that are still common in Toronto.

These were originally incandescent but I've seen ones wired for MV with a remote ballast.

Neat streetlamp, and in a very clean state too! 200 W max caps the lumen rating to 2500 lm, which is really not much. I can see the appeal of using a mercury lamp instead.

Thanks! I suppose 300w lamps do fit inside but I always felt they ran too hot in such a small luminaire. The required a remote ballast for mercury lamps but there was a revised version designed for up to 125W mercury lamps that had a larger head and a internal ballast.
