What you have here is a nice gen-2.3 HPI lamp with 3-piece barrel burner, made in April 1980. It's a classic, and you can read more about it there and there.

No problem, Erik. Did you light up your HPI/T? It's possible that it won't have any problem igniting at the relatively high open-circuit voltage of your mercury and metal halide transformer ballasts.

No, I haven't. Didn't think this would work on an M59, let alone an H33, being that it doesn't have a starting probe.
