The ESLA in operation
Here it is, the ultimate lantern for most UK collectors: The ESLA! This one is the 2nd rarest 2-way lantern, at 175 degrees. 180 being the rarest, and 165 being the most common. It is in absolutely stunning condition. I have in it a modern Mazda 60W pearl tungsten lamp. This is a wonderful piece in the collection!

Now there's a thought, if only I had one Sad bulb icon I do have 160W MBTF lamps, but I don't have a way to mount it up so the lamp stays vertical.

Nice classic! When was this made exactly?
Sammi   [Mon 14 Jul 2025 at 13:33]
You need to find a swan neck lamp post. Wonder

Ria - That sounds like a brilliant idea!

Max - I believe this one dates from the 1930s or 1940s.

Sammi - I've got brackets, but no full columns yet. I need a place of my own before that happens. But when I do, you bet I'll be installing them! Mr. Green
