Is it lacquered or do you have to polish it regularly? I have a couple of oil lamps but they type with a diffuser globe as well as a chimney. Twin wicks and a built in snuffer which is quite cool. Don't really use them and probably struggle to find wick for these now.

It wasn't lacquered, I had to give it a good going over with the Brasso. I've only just got the lamp so this was the first time that I've polished it. Wonder
Wicks are fairly easy to find on eBay, both flat and round. Cool
