1953 Coronation Neon Lamp

Never thought I'd find one of these, so we have to say many thanks to Andy (Photonicinduction) for this wonderful example. It seems a little different (and slightly smaller) from others that I've seen, the lettering is more ornate than the one on Lamptech for example. Sadly there is no etch anywhere, we obviously know the date, but who made this and where, does anyone know..?

I've no idea who made it, but that's a very nice lamp indeed. I admire the effort that went in the design and production of the electrodes, that must have been very labor intensive!

Nice find Ria ! The LampTech listing does say they were also made by Osram-GEC .

@Max - Indeed, people cared about what they made back then.

@Tim - Could be Wonder
