These are interesting lamps. Unfortunately, never saw these appear in general supply for indoor lighting here.

They weren't very popular anywhere, which is why they didn't last. Don't think any were ever made in 240V 50Hz versions. From what I understand, GE lost somewhere in the region of $40 million with them
