                Ah, the good old explosion-in-a-wire-factory ballast 😜

                Terminal blocks are so much neater.

                My 50w HX Mercury ballast has only 4 wires going to it, its just that with these multi tap and pulse start units the wire count starts to dramatically increase. (even though half of them aren't in use!)

                And if you do decide to cut a wire off, that's the one you need...

                I tend to cap the wires off with Wagos and just try to ignore the spaghetti mess.
