This lantern was designed for SLI. And even though this particular one came from the factory as SOX, it still has the bracket to mount the SLI lamp holders!

It's possible. All I need is an SLI ballast, SLI lamp holders, and an SLI lamp
I've heard 3ft fluorescent is stupid rare as well, so not much hope.

CP Lighting still have some 200W ones for a good price, see here. Not sure what the best ballast for these is, I think a 175W MH ballast works, but it's worth getting a lamp at that price anyway
