That's a monster, with the gear shoe. Thought these were normally 180w SOX is the lamp SOX-E or is it ballasted for SOX-E 131W as well?

We had a Philips SRS201 which was much the same thing if I recall, it was ballasted for a 135W SOX. I think the ballast will work for both 135W and 180W but I'm not sure.

Yeah, I have the Philips L4135 leak-ballast for 135/180w SOX lamps. I also have an ignitor ballast for the 135w (BSX135H96) but it doesn't work with the 180w, although that's probably an ignitor issue.

The fixture we had was an ignitor ballast, don't recall which one, though. Oh I haven't forgotten I owe you a 120W Solarcolour lamp by the way, we found the lamp but don't have a box the right size, will have to work on that, bear with us.

This one has a leak ballast rated for 135 / 180W lamps. This one just happened to have a 131W lamp fitted and that's all I have to run with it
