Megger DCM305E Earth Leakage Clamp Meter Here is a Megger DCM305E Earth Leakage Clamp Meter which is designed to show any leakage to earth on an electrical installation. By placing it around the main tails at the consumer unit, it can show how much current is leaking to earth; some of this will be intentional (certain equipment is designed to operate with a known amount of leakage current) but some may well be as a result of a fault, this instrument will help an electrician determine where any fault may lie. This has just failed calibration, so we're going to have to send it back to Steve at Testermans, where we bought it, to see if he can do anything with it Confused
