Philips 36W SOX-E Gear on Test/Demo Board Here is a set of gear to run a 36W SOX-E lamp. It consists of a Philips BSX 36 H66 ballast, an SX72 ignitor and a 4.4µF 300V capacitor. Note from the diagram that the capacitor connects in series with the lamp and ignitor, so is essential to the circuit. The lamp plugs into the BS546 5A socket at the bottom left. Keywords: Gear
