Mazda 200-250V 60W 2-pin Fireglow Lamp Thanks to Lucas for the eBay link for this one, I've been after one of these for ages. The date code reads B0J which means nothing to me, can anyone assist..? A socket might be useful as well, as I don't have one of the Berry heaters they were intended for, had to use a choc block..! Not quite sure why these lamps were made with such a strange base, although the cynical side of me thinks it was probably to force customers to buy replacement lamps from the fire manufacturers at inflated prices. If I remember correctly, I'd say that the cynical in you is correct... the use of a proprietary base was to secure the lamp replacement market and prevent the use of cheaper equivalents.

Yeah, just wish I could find the correct lampholder, they're even harder to find than admedium ones Laughing

Fortunately, a choc block suffices for testing purposes.
