This was a cheap eBay find ! It cost around $12.50 delivered to my door ! So far I've lit this using my 12v electronic ballast I got from a scrapped ambulance scene light .

This looks like a good old rebranded 1st-gen Osram HQI-TS 70W/WDL!

It's entirely possible . I can't find a date code anywhere on the lamp . the box has Osram Sylvania on it and the enclosed leaflet has a date of 11/98 on it .
