Very nice, I do like these little lampses Bulb Man Tubular Metal Halide We've got an Urbis Evolo, they're good lanterns.

I've always thought when first seeing these in CPO that it's a really big lantern for such a little lamp Laughing But they can take up to 150W SON, so the size is justified.

Those are nice MH lamps! There was also an HPS variant in development, but Philips never released it.

I believe the idea was to have matching power levels, CPO-TW white for residential areas, and CPO-TG gold for main roads. Halide for better colour, sodium for better lifespan. But it turned out HPS needed more power for less light for the size. Then halide was discovered to have much longer life than expected so the cosmo gold was obsolete before it was launched. It's a shame, it would have been interesting to see both in operation
