Email alerts - please read

We have been having an ongoing problem where some users are not receiving site emails. As far as I can tell, it is only affecting Gmail users, and I believe this is due to the fact that Gmail requires emails to be authenticated before it will accept them.

I have been in touch with the hosting company and they have put a fix in place, so I am hoping that anyone who has been affected by this should now be receiving forum emails normally.

This is not the same problem that we have been having with email alerts for gallery comments, this is still a problem that needs to be fixed, but it's being investigated so please bear with us.
