Gotta love proprietary lamp designs ! Probably made by the same company who made the fixture .

Could be. I can't find the ballast in that fixture, it must be a little electronic board somewhere, as all the black box on the back has in it is the electrical connection from the feed cable

I wonder if it just uses a regular self ballasted CFL ballast.
