Linear HPS
While not one of those rare monocrystalline alumina arc tube that you can see the electrodes in, this does seem a little more transparent than most.  The electrodes can be clearly seen in this linear 250W SON-TS lamp.  However, I find, the asymmetric construction slightly annoying with the large area at one end with the getter.

Osram sourced its sodium arc tubes from NGK, and they did indeed produce a very fine-grained PCA material which appears to be more transparent than other commercial types. I have a 70 W NAV-TS of the 4Y type in which the electrodes are clearly visible, the arctube is even more transparent than in the picture above.
