Base for Osram-GEC 280W SOI/H Lamp

Here is the base we made to connect our wonderful rare 280W SOI/H lamp. It consists of a standard British UX4 valve base mounted in a project box and wired to two independent 5A BS546 plugs. These connect to two individual ballasts, one for each arc tube. In this way, either one or both arc tubes can be lit as required.

We did a good job on this. Cool

Wondering if that's the same base used on the Osram spectral lamp range. Certainly similar 4-pin arrangement but might be bigger on this lamp.

It's a standard British UX4 base, I don't know what's used on the Osram spectral lamps, but as you say this one appears somewhat larger.
