Megger Series 3 Tester

Here is a Megger Series 3 Insulation & Continuity Tester. These were made from at least the 1940s, if not earlier than that. I believe this one dates from 1966 or thereabouts. There are numerous videos on Youtube about them, and more than one or two websites, this one from Richards Radios is one of the best I have so far found.

We took it in to the calibration lab we normally use, just to see what results it returned on the bench, and believe it or not, despite being over 50 years old, it is in perfect working order and within calibration specifications. This must be one of the few if not the only one of these with a current valid calibration certificate..!
