UVP 'Blak-Ray' B 100 AP Portable UV Lamp

Here is a Blak-Ray portable UV lamp. Uses for these lamps include non-destructive testing and fluorescence inspection. It is shown here with the 50ft power cable that it came with, but I cannot find any reference to cables longer than 20ft from the manufacturers, so someone must have fitted the longer one themselves for some reason; I have now shortened it to a more reasonable 25ft..! The ballast in the base is well potted in a tar-like material, so replacing it may be tricky should it ever fail..! This lamp uses the now rare admedium E29 cap, although later versions switched to the standard US size of E26 (medium).
